Music

Giles Narang and Andrew Lisle are both accomplished professional musicians and teachers. Both teach drums.

Pop Culture was formed with the sole intent of playing live music for weddings, parties and events of all types. We play floor-filling party classics from the sixties through to the present day. We typically work as a standard  five piece band: Amy – Lead vocals, Marilena – Bass & Backing vocals, Joakim – Guitar & Backing vocals, Giles – Drums,  & Paul – Saxophone & Keyboards. We also offer a seven piece option with Duncan (trumpet) and Richard (trombone)  joining our resident saxophonist to provide a full horn section.

Pop Culture

WHAT SETS US APART

Hard work and attention to detail give Pop Culture the sleek, nuanced sound that does justice to the music we perform. Every song we play is carefully chosen and lovingly arranged. We base our song arrangements closely on recorded original versions but add our own spice to give the most exciting and soulful live performance of the song you could expect to hear.

WHY BOOK US

We understand how important it is not just to book a great sounding band for your event but also a professional outfit that can deliver when it matters. We'll make sure that the music is a highlight of your event, and also that everything will run smoothly for you, so that you'll have at least one less thing to worry about when you're organising the day.
